Asthma
Asthma is a condition that is constantly changing with age, seasons, environments, physical condition and numerous other variables, so it is important to maintain close follow up of your child’s asthma so that treatment can be customized to fit your child’s changing needs. Our goal is to minimize the impact of asthma on your child’s health so that they can lead full and active lives with the least amount of medication and side effects possible. The current recommendation by asthma experts is to have routine evaluation of chronic asthma symptoms at least every 6 months, more frequently if symptoms are not well controlled. In addition, it is important for children with chronic conditions like asthma to get an annual flu vaccine every fall.
